The owner of Marais House (www.maraishouse.com) is now offering his two bedroom flat in Gstaad, Switzerland as a vacation rental on a weekly or monthly basis.

Gstaad House is a two bedroom, sitting room apartment located in the very heart of Gstaad, in the second oldest chalet dating from 1657. Next door to the Post Hotel and only 50 meters from the river, it's balcony overlooks the famous main street of Gstaad "Promenade".

There is a parking space provided for one car behind the chalet.

The flat measures approximately eighty square meters consisting of two bedrooms, sitting room, entrance/dinning area with a California style bar kitchen with oven, hot plates, full refrigerator, micro wave, dishwasher. Bathroom.

The main bedroom is with a double Empire mahogany sleigh bed, the second bedroom with an empire mahogany single bed. This room faces the river with its water sound. It has a balcony which is most probably the most photographed in the village.

The bathroom is with two basins, bath tub and toilet.

The flat is furnished with XVIIth/XVIIIth and IXXth century furniture and art. It is entirely wool carpeted with some Orientals

Has two hanging closets in the entrance hall. Two chest of drawers in the main bedroom and one in the second bedroom. Skis can be left in the basement.

This being a XVIIth century house the ceilings are low, at the lowest two meters and the highest two meters twenty. Therefore not for very tall persons.

The flat is very "cocooned" with a very central situation in the middle of the village; The Olden is some forty meters across the street. Everything is within walking distance. One can catch the bus some thirty meters away for the various slopes.
